Frustration over the delay in school uniforms comes to a boiling point at John Gray High School.
Hundreds of parents and students lined up to find out exactly what is going on with the new uniforms for the school year.
In addition to being frustrated by the long lines and hot sun, many parents voiced their concerns to Cayman 27 crews about not being properly informed about the uniform situation.
Meanwhile, the education minister is speaking out about the uniform delay and he says the ministry is sorry for the inconvenience the delay has caused and he is hoping that parents and students will have patience during this difficult time.
Minister Anglin says they will be issuing further statements about the status of the uniforms and he is asking that all parents listen to advisories from the local media.
We’re told that a similar situation also occurred in Bodden Town for the Clifton Hunter school uniforms.
