Emergency workers will get a chance to test their skills Tuesday (20 July) as part of an annual emergency exercise.
The exact time and location of the exercise will be kept top secret. All that airports authority officials can tell us is that the exercise dubbed "Operation Heron" will take place at night-time near the Owen Roberts International Airport.
Motorists should expect traffic disruptions while the emergency is going on. Police say it will be necessary for the RCIPS to stop traffic at various street lights and junctions along Smith Road, Crewe Road, Owen Roberts Drive and surrounding roads in the Industrial Park area.
