Golden Apple Awards

The Golden Apple Awards showcase the work of teachers in the Cayman Islands. Now in its third year, the Chamber of Commerce awards for excellence in teaching  took place on Saturday, 20th June 2009 at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. 21 of Cayman’s educators were honoured at the event.

The hosts for the event were past Golden Apple Recipients, Ms. June South Robinson and Mr
Elroy Bryan. Ms. South Robinson was the 2007 Recipient of the Golden Apple Award for a
Middle School Teacher in a Public School and Mr. Bryan was the recipient of the 2008 Golden
Apple Award for a Primary School Teacher in a Public School.
